There is nothing more frustrating than throwing on your favorite jacket on your way out the door, only to have the zipper jam completely. If your clothes are holding you hostage and you’re yanking at the metal like Hex, you’re one tug away from permanently ripping the fabric.

What You Need
1 sharpened graphite pencil (a standard #2 wooden pencil works perfectly)
The Heaven Hack
1. Stop Pulling: As soon as the zipper gets stuck, immediately stop trying to force it. Pulling harder will only lock the metal teeth tighter into the fabric or break the zipper pull completely.
2. Apply the Graphite: Take your sharpened wooden pencil and firmly rub the dark graphite tip directly over the stuck zipper teeth. Focus heavily on the exact spot where the slider is jammed, coating the metal in a fine gray dust.

3. Wiggle and Glide: Graphite acts as a natural, mess-free dry lubricant. Gently wiggle the zipper slider up and down to work the graphite dust into the mechanism until it effortlessly glides free like butter.
Don’t let a jammed track ruin your favorite wardrobe pieces. Watch Hex battle his own jacket (and see Havens save the day)
A stuck zipper can be fixed quickly with a pencil. Gently rub the pencil over the zipper teeth and slowly move the zipper up and down. Avoid pulling it too hardly, as this can damage the zipper. If the zipper still dont move, check for trapped fabric and try again careful.
